Calf Implants Before
Calf Implants After

Calf implants are soft, solid silicone implants that create cosmetic fullness in the lower leg and help to achieve a toned muscle appearance.

The silicone calf implants are inserted in a specially created pocket between the gastroc muscle and its fascia (the fibrous covering of the muscle). The pocket is just big enough for the implant to fit securely. The surgeon will scrutinize the effect and if the result is good, the incision is stitched closed. The procedure takes approximately one hour per leg.

Recovery time: 1 to 3 weeks with a return to full physical activities within 4-6 weeks.
