Dr. Ali Husain is renowned for his expertise in Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery, practicing at esteemed hospitals such as Moncton Hospital, Georges L. Dumont Hospital, and Sackville Hospital, in addition to our very own clinic, Allura Medical Aesthetics & Surgery. As pioneers in the province, we were the first private clinic in New Brunswick to perform surgeries under general anesthesia, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. Education
- Dr. Ali Husain's journey in medicine began at the Arabian Gulf University, where he earned his medical degree before embarking on a comprehensive training program in General Surgery, spanning five years. In 1996, he was granted admission to McGill University's esteemed Plastic Surgery Program, a pivotal period during which he honed his skills in a wide array of Plastic & Reconstructive procedures.
- Throughout his tenure at McGill, Dr. Husain showcased his dedication to advancing the field, earning accolades such as the "Best Reconstructive Research Paper" award at the Senior Residents Conference in Seattle in 2001. His study on "Reconstructive Needs of Breast Cancer Patients with Partial Mastectomy Defects" garnered recognition for its impactful contributions.
- In 2002, Dr. Husain successfully completed his Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada examination, marking a significant milestone in his career. He then made Moncton, New Brunswick, his home, where he swiftly established a thriving practice, earning a reputation for excellence in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery.
- Driven by a passion for continuous learning and advancement, Dr. Husain embarked on an educational sabbatical in 2006, undertaking specialized training at the University of British Columbia. There, he focused on Reconstructive Breast Surgery, further enriching his expertise in this critical area of care, and earning his Post-Graduate Fellowship Certificate.
