Dr. Williamson established practice in Kelowna, joining the medical community as a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

- B.Sc. from the University of New Brunswick in 1989
- Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S.
- Resident training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was at the University of British Columbia from 1994 - 1999
- Fellowship training at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in London, Ontario
