- Dr. Michel Gagner - Bariatric Surgeon: M.D. from the Faculté de Medecine de l’Universite de Sherbrooke in Canada in 1982. Surgical training at McGill University in Montreal from 1982-1988. Residency and 2 years of a Ph.D. program on human lipolysis in sepsis at the Royal Victoria Hospital, McGill University from 1984-1986. Fellowships in hepatic surgery at Hopital Villejuif in Paris, France and pancreatico-biliary surgery at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, 1989-1990.
- Dr. Lamees Almutlaq - Bariatric Surgeon: General Surgery Residency and Minimally Invasive Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at McGill University. Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
- Dr. Amin Andalib - Bariatric Surgery Specialist: General Surgery Residency and MSc in Epidemiology at McGill University. Fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio.
- Dr. Barry L. Stein - General Surgeon: Medical degree at McGill University in Montreal and then completed his General Surgery training at McGill. Certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Surgery, and American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
- Dr. Olivier Court - Bariatric Surgery Specialist: Doctor of Medicine degree from McGill University in 1995. General Surgery residency in Manitoba and achieved RCPSC certification in 2001. Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine in Manitoba with RCPSC certification in 2003. Received training in Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery in Washington, DC.
- Dr. Caroline Doyon - General Surgeon: Medicine and Surgery program - University of Montreal. Specialist's diploma in general surgery, 2012. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. Master's degree in Molecular Biology and in Biomedical Science - specialized in gastrointestinal tumors.

- Dr Gagner: Pioneered first descriptions of key laparoscopic surgeries (1992-1993), Innovated first-ever endoscopic parathyroidectomy and transgastric cholecystectomy (1995-1997), Developed first laparoscopic procedures for obesity (1999-2000).
- Dr. Gagner's extensive contributions to the field of minimally invasive surgery are evident in his impressive publication record, which includes over 300 journal articles, 40 book chapters, and 8 books. His expertise has been shared globally through visiting professorships and surgeries conducted in over 60 institutions across 48 countries. With involvement in more than 35 societies and organizations, Dr. Gagner has held prominent positions and served on the editorial boards of 12 surgical journals.
- Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Gagner has been recognized with numerous honorary memberships and awards. His recent focus on innovative upper digestive tract surgeries, particularly in the realm of bariatric and endoluminal gastric procedures, underscores his ongoing commitment to advancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes.
