- The Remington Dermatology Centre was established in 1971 and became the Remington Laser Dermatology Centre in 1979, the first of its kind in Canada. Our philosophy is to provide patients with state of the art Dermatological care using the best technology as soon as it becomes available. In order to maintain this objective during an era of increasing financial restraint on the health care system, the Remington Centre operates as a private facility complete with its own surgical lasers and operating rooms. This structure allows us to provide access to the newest high technology laser treatments, most of which would otherwise be unavailable.
