Dr. Sameet Gill
- Dr. Sameet Gill was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She earned her Bachelor of Physical Science from the University of Alberta before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
- It was the heart of Albertans that brought her back. Dr. Gill built her practice on a simple belief: every patient deserves care that is thorough, compassionate, and worth looking forward to. She has researched and implemented advanced dental technology across her clinics, with a focus on pediatric and restorative dentistry, helping kids feel at ease in the chair and reconstructing beautiful smiles for patients of all ages.
- Raised by a single mother, Dr. Gill knows firsthand what it means to face difficulties that others around you may never see, and how much it means when someone reaches out a hand during those seasons. Catholic Social Services was that hand for her and her mother, and that experience never left her. Today, she gives back to Catholic Social Services and supports food banks across Alberta, because she understands deeply what it means to be carried by your community when you need it most.
- Having walked that road herself, she built a tuition support program within her own clinic, giving her team members the chance to pursue further education without the weight that so often gets in the way.
- Her profession has also taken her across the world. Dr. Gill organized and led a pro bono dental clinic in Bhutan, bringing free dental care to families that had little to none. Closer to home, here in Alberta, she supports and spends time with residents at Good Samaritan, giving back to the seniors in her community.
- At the heart of it all, Dr. Gill is a mother, a wife, and a dog mom to their beloved labradoodle Polly. She believes that the right care at the right moment can change the course of someone's life, and that belief guides her in her clinic, across Alberta, and at home.
