Developed in France by LPG, its proponents claim that Endermologie™ will not only smooth the skin, but also reduce the size of fat cells.

The Endermologie™ massager rolls and unrolls the skin. It also uses gentle suction which holds the skin while the specialist slowly and gently stretches and "rejuvenates the connective tissue," according to promotional literature from LPG. The suction with the massage increases blood circulation in the sub-dermal layers.

Endermologie™ advocates claim that the technique changes surface fats and makes the skin tighter.
